The location was absolutely perfect for my daughter's wedding in the nearby church. The beds in the cottage were incredibly comfortable and spacious, ensuring a good night's sleep. The cottage itself was absolutely stunning, far surpassing our expectations. It was spotlessly clean upon arrival and the furniture throughout the cottage was of a very high standard. The rear courtyard provided a cozy and relaxing place to unwind. The rooms were not only spacious, but also maintained numerous charming period features. The rear conservatory was bright and airy, creating a lovely ambiance. The kitchen was absolutely gorgeous! The village was wonderfully quiet and provided a great atmosphere for relaxation. I loved waking up to the peaceful sounds of birds, sheep, and wildlife. it was a fantastic stay and I will definitely be recommending it to others.

I recently stayed at the charming property managed by Host & Stay - The Old Post Office. The house was beautifully furnished, comfortable, and warm, making it a perfect retreat for our large group. The location was excellent, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The beds were super comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep. Additionally, the property was well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
If I were to be picky, I would say that the garden could have used a tidy up, but that didn't detract from the overall experience. The TV didn't work, and the Aga in the kitchen made it quite hot on a hot weekend, but these were minor inconveniences that didn't impact our enjoyment.

We got great value for our money at this lovely big house. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with beautiful period features. The location in the center of the village was convenient, and the views from the house were stunning. The staff treated us well during our stay, and the peacefulness of the village made for a relaxing experience.
The only thing that could have made breakfast better would be more variety in the breakfast items.

The house is situated in a beautiful location, perfect for swimming in the nearby river and going on scenic walks. the bedrooms are lovely and the bedding and towels provided are excellent. the staff members we spoke to were very helpful and the cottage exceeded our expectations in terms of cleanliness and furniture quality.
The kitchen was disappointing, as the heat from the aga made it uncomfortably hot and unusable.
